THE PRISMA DE FONSEKA ROAD

This three-bedroom apartment in Colombo, as with most apartments had limited storage, which was a main concern for the client. To counter this and maximize on space, we introduced storage in the form of drawers in the normally underutilized space beneath the beds. White was used in many of the design elements to help the space look larger and to help it avoid being a single flat colour, textures, grooves and moulding strips were introduced to keep the areas unique and interesting.

For us at Ayointerior, a client’s brief is paramount, and we work to make that vision a reality. As such we designed customized dressing room complete with studio mirror, bright lights with two humpty type stools and a rug. The stools provide both aesthetic value to the dressing room while serving the practical purpose of allowing the client the luxury to sit down to do her makeup and put her shoes on.

To bring in colour, selected walls were given accent hues. Soft blue and grey tones were added to the interior with the use of fabrics and rugs.  character of the apartment is light, bright, comfortable and fresh, perfect for a young family with kids and a live in pet.
